What is uploaded

Only the photo you choose to upload, for the application type you select.

Why it is processed

To measure your photo against the technical requirements of the selected document type (dimensions, head size, background, and image quality) and to generate a cropped digital photo and printable PDF for you to download.

Where it is processed

Face detection and measurement run in your browser. Your original photo is uploaded only to generate the final cropped image and print PDF; no third-party AI service is used in the normal workflow.

How long it is stored

Uploaded photos and generated outputs are temporary and are automatically deleted no more than one hour after upload, even if you never download them. You can also request immediate deletion at any time from the editor screen.

When it is deleted

Automatically after processing and download, and in all cases within one hour.

Third-party AI

The default workflow does not send your photo to any third-party AI service. PhotoReady does not use cloud AI processing in this deployment.
